One kit. Four saltwater environments. Six months, carried on foot. If you make something that has to survive that, put it in the trial.
Between November 2026 and spring 2027 the same kit gets fished on foot across four destinations, on four very different coastlines. Nothing is fished from a boat. Everything is carried.
| When | Where | Water |
|---|---|---|
| November 2026 | Baja California Sur | Sand beaches, estuaries, cuts, rock piles |
| Winter 2027 | Fiji | Reef edge and shoreline, fished with village permission |
| Winter 2027 | Thailand | Andaman beaches, mangrove edges, estuary mouths |
| Spring 2027 | Maldives | Atoll flats and skinny water, walked |
A single trip tells you your product worked once, somewhere. Four coastlines in six months tells you how it holds up against grit, coral abrasion, mangrove humidity, sustained salt and long carry days — and it produces footage in water your customers actually daydream about.
It's also continuous. You're not buying one post; you're in a trial that gets referenced every time the kit list is revised.
Product, not payment. Send the item you want tested and it goes in the bag for the legs it suits. If it earns its place it stays for the whole trial and gets written about repeatedly.
If a longer arrangement makes sense on your side — multiple SKUs, a season-long relationship, an affiliate or discount arrangement — that's a conversation worth having, and the sooner in the trial the better.
Results are published honestly, including when a product fails. That's not a threat, it's the reason the reviews are worth anything to your customers — and it's what separates this from an affiliate site that likes everything it's sent.
Everything provided is disclosed clearly under FTC endorsement rules, on every piece of coverage it appears in.
Gear for the Baja leg needs to be in hand before 25 October 2026. Later legs have longer runways — reach out any time and we'll place it in the leg that fits.
Email contact@themobileangler.com with the product and the leg you're interested in, and you'll get a straight answer about whether it suits the trial.
